Knap-in at Lynches River County Park  |  May 8- 9, 2015
Friday 11:00 - 5:00 & Saturday 10:00 - 5:00

Join us for a glimpse into the prehistoric past! Our gathering will showcase the numerous primitive skills practiced during the stone age. Flintknappers will be on site demonstrating the ancient art of making stone tools. Atlatl and dart (spear throwing) experts will show you how we hunted before the invention of the bow and arrow.

This family friendly event is free. Lynches River County park welcomes you to enjoy the park during your visit. Take a stroll among towering cypress trees, bring a picnic, visit the Environmental Discovery Center and enjoy the scenic river.

Vendors will offer reproduction stone tools, flint, knapping tools and unique crafts. Vendor fee $15 & camping $8 per night.
